ExpectancyTheory期望理论 WhatisexpectancytheoryExpectancytheoryisafieldofstudyaboutemployeemotivation.Accordingtothistheory,thestrengthofatendencytoactinacertainwaydependsonthestrengthofanexpectationthatactwillbefollowedbyagivenoutcomeandontheattractivenessofthatoutcometotheindividual.Inpracticalterms,itsaysthatanemployeewillbemotivatedtoexertahighlevelofeffortwhenheorshebelievesthateffortwillleadtoagoodperformanceappraisal;thatagoodperformanceappraisalwillleadtoorganizationalrewards,thattherewardswillsatisfytheemployees"personalgoals.
